DoloresMAHONEYMAHONEY(Dolores(10.0 3.1922 - 25.01.2008 It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Dolores Mahoney (Lol) age 85, who passed away at her home on January 25, 2008 after a long and courageous battle against Leukaemia. Dolores shall be greatly missed by her daughter, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Many thanks to relatives, neighbours and friends for kind expressions of sympathy, cards of condolence, Mass offerings, flowers and donations to Marie Curie and Leukaemia Research. Special thanks to all the District Nurses who visited her during her illness, also special thanks to Doctor Raju of Ifor Street Surgery, Dowlais and to Reverend Martyn Davies and Father Michael Evans for their care and guidance throughout her illness. The funeral service took place on January 31 at All Saints Church, Dowlais and was officiated by both Reverend Martyn Davies and Father Michael Evans with cremation at Llwydcoed Crematorium. Funeral arrangements were carried out by Allan and Derek Davies who also arranged a private service for her ashes to be buried with her mother and father at Pant Cemetery.
